Q. How do I make bookings and payments?

Q. What is an Empty Leg?

A. An 'empty leg' occurs when an aircraft which has only been booked one way, needs to fly back to its original base of operation. The aircraft will then be empty for the return flight. Customers can benefit greatly from empty legs being offered by operators at discounted rates. Even reduced fares help the operator to offset the fuel and crew costs which still need to be paid even though a plane flys empty.

Q. What airports and scheduling arrangements are available?

A. Our online booking service for executive air travel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we provide flexible scheduling options.

Bookings are processed on the next working day. However if you need to arrange executive air travel within 2 days' notice of today's date, please email us. If you need to make changes, you should advise us immediately and we will co-ordinate a revised schedule, informing you of any alterations in costs or times.

Q. Can I bring my pet on the flight?

A. Pets can be brought onto an executive air charter but only for a domestic flight, within the UK. The transport of pets with in the UK is subject to license and some jet carriers will require assurances that the pet is safe to travel. Please notify us should you wish to travel with your pet.

Q. What are the benefits of executive air charter?

A. Executive air charter allows an individual or group to hire the entire aircraft. Rather than paying simply for a seat, as you would with commercial scheduled airlines, you charter the entire plane, pilot and crew exclusively for your own use. You set the schedule; departure and arrival airports and you choose the type of aircraft.

Executive air travel gives you the benefits of speed, convenience, privacy and comfort. In addition it can be more economical than booking a large group on a scheduled flight and increased time efficiency can mean you save on accommodation and other costs. Q. What is your safety policy?

A. Freedom of the Skies takes the health and safety of its customers very seriously. Executive air charter crews are subject to strict regulations and have hundreds of hours flying experience. All the aircraft that we use are subject to the same stringent checks and maintenance as on scheduled airlines. We would mention that for private and executive air charters it is still important for the customer to have a valid passport and all necessary immigration and visa requirements associated with the destination country will still have to be adhered to.
